Bookshop Description

We're a independent bookshop based in Edinburgh's seaside community of Portobello. We opened in July 2019, following extensive renovations - the aim was to create a warm, modern, open space that’s welcoming and which allows us to host events. We're a general bookshop; our stock tends to be mostly new titles, and a range of fiction and non-fiction, from translated fiction to fantasy, from bestselling nature writing to literary essays. We want to offer customers what we feel is an original and diverse selection of books across most genres. We have a busy children's section too. Important parts of the business are our literary events, which we host in the bookshop and in external venues, and our online shop.
