Bookshop Description

The Hungerford Bookshop has existed in Hungerdord for over 30 years. In 2006 it was bought by Emma and Alex Milne-White who filled it with books they love and ensured the shop played a pivotal role within the community. In 2009 it won Independent Boo kshop of the Year, and was regionally shortlisted in 2011. The bookshop is situated on Hungerford's historic high street with parking right outside (and a cofee shop next door!). We mainly stock new books- from the latest paperbacks to sumptuous coff ee table books-and we have an excellent Children's section. Downstairs carries over 4000 second hand titles, with a comfy armchair for browsing at leisure. We hold regular author events - do join our mailing list - and run a loyalty card scheme.
